On Thursday the 16th April 2015, I got to photograph the union of two wonderful people who dearly love each other.
It was a stunning wedding, albeit a little wet, it was beautiful!
We all had a great day filled with so many laughs and so much love.

Last weekend I was truly honored to photograph the beautiful wedding of Melanie and Marc.
Melanie and Marc, two people who absolutely adore each other and love one another unconditionally, stood before their family and friends in the beautiful gardens at Kingsbrook Estate and became husband and wife.
It was an amazing day cherished by all.

Pretty as a Pearl!
On Monday, I got to enjoy the company of the cutest little poppet and her lovely Mum.
Pearl had popped over to celebrate her 1st Birthday, by smashing up a pretty cake.
Pearls Mum had found a gorgeous little lace ruffle set with an ocean theme, so, we decided to do a Mermaid cake smash session.
Pearl was hysterical, she dove right into the cake face first! Took a big bite and said hmmmmm!
Mum and I had such a laugh!

Maternity at Mount Lofty
A few weeks ago, I met Kayla and Dan for their Maternity session.
Kayla looked absolutely stunning. She had found the most gorgeous maternity dress, that just draped beautifully, over her 38 weeks bump. We started the session off with some chatter about our families, their babies due date and before long Kayla and Dan were obviously feeling far more relaxed and we were all having a good laugh.
Together we explored some of my favourite little nooks in the Mount Lofty Botanical Gardens.
Dan the man as a named him that day, was a barrel of laughs and great entertainer throughout the session. This was wonderful, as it meant I was blessed with beautiful natural smiles and giggles from Kayla when she was having her portraits taken.
I got home that night and just loved so many of the photos, so much so, that, I have had a bit of trouble choosing which, photos to use for my blog!
I had a wonderful time photographing your beautiful bump Kayla and Dan and cannot wait to meet your little bundle of joy!

Cake Smash Fun!!
I learned to laugh and squeal,

A few weeks ago, I got photograph little Archie’s Cake Smash photography session. I couldn’t believe how much he had grown since his newborn photography session, only 10 short months ago!
Archie’s smile lit up the room as he played with and destroyed his cake. Archie had no hesitation in getting right into eating and smashing up his cake! He grabbed his first handful of icing and there was no stopping him!
Mum and I had lots of giggles throughout the session.
Poor Archie had a bit of an ear infection, but other than a few teary moments from the pain, Archie was a great cake smasher.
I felt truly honored to have been able to capture the 3rd of many momentous occasions for little Archie and his family. Archie’s Mum contacted me to do her maternity and newborn photography sessions and we have since become friends. I am really look forward to celebrating the birth of baby number 2 later this year!

Cake Smash Fun!
Today, I witnessed a stunning bride marry her beloved groom.
Melissa is an old high school friend, so, watching her get married and being able to capture all the precious memories of her special day was such an honor.
Melissa and Serif were married at the stunning Garden Weddings at McLaren Flat, a private home with the most beautifully landscaped gardens. The day then moved on to the beautiful picturesque Serafino Wines with the bridal party being driven in two gorgeous Cadillac’s from Cadillac Dreams and Serifs own Ford muscle cars.
It was an amazing day, one that I am thrilled to have been part of.

I am lucky enough to have so many wonderful friends who are not only companions but amazing supporters of my work, my passion, my photography.
One of my dearest friends is a little camera shy to say the least, but as she is one of my biggest supporters, offered her beautiful bump to me to photograph for my portfolio. With so much gratitude, I accepted and started thinking about all the possibilities for capturing her beautiful pregnant form, while taking into consideration her feelings about photos of herself.
On the day of Suzie’s maternity session, we spent an afternoon together playing with her darling daughter and capturing amazing photos of her second pregnancy. Suzie waited with baited breath to see the images, a little nervously to say the least. Soon enough I had her images posted on facebook….the response was mind blowing….apparently a few tears of joy fell that morning!

My name is Wendy and I love photography. I am a mother, a wife and the owner of Keepsake Photography. I have 2 beautiful children who give me so many reasons to smile every day. My love of photography started in high school, and I planned to be a photographer “when I grew up” but a few other things happened along the way! With the births of my own children that love of photography was reignited. Photographing my own children I realised what a passion I still have for photography.
Keepsake photography by Wendy specialises in natural light portraiture. I enjoy capturing images of families, couples, children, newborns, social events and weddings. I define my photography as relaxed, fun, natural and candid with some posed elements. I love capturing kids playing, enjoying a tea party, splashing in puddles, rolling around just being a child. Looking through the camera helps you focus on the little things, especially those moments that can so quickly pass but melt your heart.
My aim is to capture memories for you, whether it’s a cheeky smile, a tender kiss, the touch of a tiny hand on yours, or the miracle of pregnancy and birth.
